The secretive Dania Beach-based technology company Magic Leap has released 24 patent applications that shed some light on what they’ve been working on. The applications suggest that the company is working create a sort of hive-mind computer system that integrates virtual reality technology with programs that sense emotions and communicate with other Magic Leap users. In the short term, similar patents could be used to create Google Glass-like augmented reality headsets.
