The Hilton Hotel chain is planning to open two boutique hotels—the CurioCollection, which will take over the 1925 Gulfstream Hotel in Lakeworth, and Canopy, a young and hip addition to Delray Beach. CurioCollection is the more elegant brand which tends to take over historic properties, whether they be local favorites or more widely renown. They also generally include luxury amenities like spas and art. Meanwhile, the Canopy brand caters to a more millennial clientele. It includes numerous additions in the nightly cost including a neighborhood-based gift, free Wi-Fi, breakfast, and beverage tastings. This hotel is one of numerous plans the developer has for the Atlantic Avenue area.
