The Actors’ Playhouse is currently putting on a performance of “The Toxic Avenger,” a campy rock musical based on the cult horror-comedy of the same name. Artistic director David Arisco has brought the same creative comedic fair to this production as he’s done on previous shows, immersing the audience in ‘Toxie’s’ world by decorating the entire theater to look like poisonous sludge-filled Tromaville New Jersey.
