The City of North Charleston Cultural Arts Department is looking for artists in all disciplines for its 2016 North Charleston Arts Festival. Musicians, theatre and dance artists, visual craftspeople, photographers, media artists, and writers, whether regional or national, are all encouraged to apply to participate in this fantastic event.
The North Charleston Arts Festival is one of the largest such festivals in the state, with more than 30,000 residents and visitors annually drawn to participate in a wide array of performances, activities, and exhibitions. Sunday, May 1 will be a free admission day and feature more than forty performances on four stages: General Audience, Bands, Cultural Heritage, and Youth Entertainment. Other events include judged art and photography exhibitions, a gem and mineral show, and an antiques show. If you'd like to apply, the application will be available to download on October 1.
