The Jupiter community of Abacoa has gained a new hotel today. The Courtyard by Marriott, which is a hotel brand owned by Marriott International that is geared toward business travelers and families, has officially opened at 4800 Main Street.

Boasting 128 rooms, the new Palm Beach/Jupiter Courtyard by Marriott cost $20 million to complete. In addition to offering 2,500 square feet of event space, the hotel also features a coffee shop and full-service bar, a fitness center, an outdoor swimming pool, a business center and a guest laundry.

Conveniently located across the street from Roger Dean Stadium, the new hotel serves as a great jumping-off point for anyone who is interested in all that Abacoa has to offer. The new hotel is also expected to have a significant impact on the Abacoa economy, with the hotel promising to create 68 full-time jobs within the next five years as part of its loan agreement. In all, the Palm Beach County Department of Economic Sustainability estimates that the project will have a $31.4 million impact on the county over the next five years.
