Ideally situated along the marches of the Intracoastal Waterway, the community of Back Bay Village is characterized by its quaint, custom homes and walking trails. While Back Bay Village consists of only 57 homes, the small community leaves quite an impression on those who see it. Not only are the homes situated on spacious 1/3 acre lots, but the houses themselves are quite large and boast beautiful views of the waterway. Homes within Back Bay Village range in size from 2,450 to 4,800 square feet. Most of the homes are elevated on posts and feature drive-under garages. Home exteriors commonly found within the community include brick, stucco and cement fiberboard. Many of the homes also feature views of the marsh, while the community itself boasts streetlights, sidewalks, walking paths and three ponds for residents to enjoy. While the community itself does not have a lot to offer in terms of restaurants, shops and other businesses, it is located only five minutes away from the Towne Center Shopping Center, Seaside Farms Shops and a variety of other restaurants and shops.
