An analysis by finance website Nerdwallet has found that Florida is America’s 7th-most entrepreneurial state. Florida’s high standing in the rankings shows that the Sunshine State has proved to be a successful environment for small businesses in the last few years. Florida saw 3.7 percent growth in small business from 2010-2013, and Small Business Administration loans grew 56 percent between 2012 and 2015. Florida had 2.49 small businesses per 100 people in 2015.
