Many people are opting to eat less meat and dairy products these days as we begin to make more conscious choices about our diets. Whether you are doing it for the animals, your health, or the environment, we can all agree that no one wants to order a wimpy salad and random side dishes when you’re dining out! Fortunately, Palm Beach County has an abundance of vegan and vegan-friendly local restaurants that will leave you anything but hungry. Check out these pointers on the best plant based and vegan restaurants in Palm Beach County.

Lunch & Dinner

Christopher’s Kitchen

4783 PGA Boulevard, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418

A plant based staple, Christopher’s Kitchen meticulously makes every dish with 100% organic plant-based ingredients. The diverse menu has everything from pizza to sushi, and every comfort food in between. Make sure to check out the dessert menu or stop by the CK to go area for sinfully delicious sweet treats - hold the guilt. The casual atmosphere is perfect for lunch or dinner, with plenty of covered outdoor seating by a babbling fountain in the Midtown PGA Plaza. At dinner, enjoy romantic outdoor lighting and a glass of organic wine from the intimate wine room!

Darbster

8020 S Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach, FL 33405

Another veteran vegan restaurant in the area, Darbster is infamous for its vegan comfort food. Plates like “chicken” parmigiana and “beef” wellington are just a few of the incredible plant based creations that make Darbster so popular, even for meat eaters. Just south of El Cid on South Dixie highway, Darbster’s quaint location adds even more bonus points to its allure. With the majority of the seating being under a covered porch and patio overlooking the water, you’re almost always guaranteed a great view.

Stash House

430 Northwood Rd Suite 1 & 2, West Palm Beach, FL 33407

One of the most unique vegan menus in town, Stash House offers many indulgent and savory foods that compliment its adult beverage menu ever so nicely. Things like truffle mac’ n cheese, empanadas, and a dedicated burger line-up are just a few. Hungry yet? And just like the menu, the location in historic Northwood Village is equally unique, with art galleries, shops, and cocktail bars within walking distance.

The New Vegan

528 NE 2nd St, Delray Beach, FL 33483

With the motto “you don’t have to be vegan to eat vegan” The New Vegan in Delray Beach focuses on not only making diverse and tasty vegan food available to the community, but also educating the community on the health benefits of eating organic, plant-based foods. Breakfast, salads, wraps, burgers, smoothies, desserts - you name it, The New Vegan probably has it.

Cheap & Fast

Anzo

Palm Beach Gardens, West Palm Beach & Boca Raton

What many might compare to a “mediterranean chipotle,” Anzo offers a “build your own” menu with numerous and easily distinguishable vegan options. With plenty of protein options like falafel, chickpeas and tofu, you will be pleasantly satisfied with the portion sizes and quality of ingredients. And with a price point starting at less than $10 per meal, your wallet will be satisfied too! Pro tip: make sure to grab a piece of their vegan Baklava to-go.

Tiffin Box

2491 Okeechobee Blvd H, West Palm Beach, FL 33409

“Fresh, Fast, Indian Food” is the slogan at Tiffin Box. Doesn’t get much better than that, right? Fresh and delicious Indian cuisine with plenty of mouthwatering vegan options like their savory samosas and “build your own” bowls.

Bolay

Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, West Palm Beach & Wellington

Known for their bowls with “bold” and nutritious, global-inspired flavors, Bolay is widely popular in South Florida. Bolay is an easy and convenient option for vegans and non-vegans! Generous portion sizes with plenty of veggies and veg-protein options make Bolay a great value for its low price point.

OliveU

Palm Beach Gardens & Boca Raton

Similar to Anzo, OliveU offers delicious mediterranean wraps, salads, and bowls, “build your own” style. As the old saying goes, the devil is in the details, which is why OliveU deserves to make this list too. Little details like the way they season their falafel, the freshness of their pita and hummus, and their one-of-a-kind hot sauce make OliveU a favorite for fast and fresh vegan food.

Dina’s Vegan Deli & Desserts

1880 W 10th St Bldg 106, Riviera Beach, FL 33404

Gyro’s, cheesesteaks, and hoagies oh my! Dina’s prides themselves on their delicious and 100% plant based comfort foods. And whatever you do, don’t forget to check out her dessert case! With fast service and a reasonable price point, Dina’s is perfect for satisfying those lunchtime cravings!

Hidden Gems - menus with options for everyone!

Farmer’s Table

North Palm Beach & Boca Raton

Farmer’s Table offers nutritious and healthy options for everyone, but the restaurant makes it especially easy for vegans and vegetarians by offering full transparency on ingredients and preparation. Check out their buffalo cauliflower and s’pasta (spaghetti squash) with vegan “meatballs.” One of my favorite things about Farmer’s table is that they offer multiple vegan dessert options, including a carrot cake that is absolutely divine!

Avocado Grill

Palm Beach Gardens & West Palm Beach

A popular spot amongst all restaurant goers, many do not know that Avocado Grill offers a full, separate vegan menu. You just have to ask for it! With many delicious and appetizing plant-based options including a curried veggie bowl, chimichurri tacos, and a mouth watering coconut watermelon poke bowl, you will leave with a happy belly. Count on a fun and lively atmosphere at both AG locations!

Pistache French Bistro

101 N Clematis Street, West Palm Beach, FL

A French bistro is oftentimes a vegan’s worst nightmare for the French’s love of adding butter and cheese to many dishes. Chef Isaac Cerny of Pistace curated a diverse menu with some veggie friendly options for the plant lovers! Be sure to check out their lentil salad, roasted beet salad (hold the goat cheese to make it vegan!) and their understated yet flavorful veggie plate!

Stage Kitchen & Bar

2000 PGA Boulevard Suite 5502, Palm Beach Gardens, FL

A newcomer to PGA boulevard, Stage offers globally inspired small plates made with fresh and local ingredients. With many Indian and Eastern inspired dishes, it’s no surprise that many of them are naturally meat and dairy free! Many of their curries, salads, chana masala, and chutney with bread are all vegan and packed with flavor.
