As previously mentioned, the Plantation is home to a gated community with a championship golf course that never gets crowded. When researching the Plantation Fort Myers homes for sale, be mindful that there are two separate neighborhoods, Bridgetown and Somerset. Bridgetown

Bridgetown is an affluent gated community of attached villas and single-family homes located in the heart of the Plantation community. Pulte and Centex developed the homes in this neighborhood.

They range in size from 1,500 SQ ft to 3,500 SQ ft. Currently, there are 16 homes for sale in the community, with the median selling price being $690,900. These houses don't last on the market very long, as they are spacious and feature new amenities.

Furthermore, Bridgetown is located in the northern portion of the Plantation and happens to be the section of the community that doesn't golf. Somerset

Somerset is the golfing community of the gated communities, and it features an 18-hole championship golf course. Additionally, the 38,000 SQ ft. clubhouse perfectly complements the golf course.

The Camden floor plan is a few hundred feet larger, with 1,809 SQ ft, three bedrooms, the den that can easily become a fourth room, two bathrooms, and the two-car garage.
