Commonly referred to “the farms,” Jupiter Farms is ideal for those who desire a country and coastal lifestyle. Located just west of the Florida Turnpike on Indiantown Road, this horse-friendly community sits on 16.2 square miles of property and boasts riding trails, parks, plant nurseries, and natural preserves. Real estate in Jupiter farms consists of single family homes that occupy spacious lots ranging from 1.25 acres to more than 10 acres. The country setting ensure its residents plenty of privacy and serves as the perfect escape from overcrowded developments, which are not uncommon in Jupiter and the Palm Beach area. Generally, homes for sale in Jupiter Farms range in size from three to five bedrooms and feature stucco construction, covered patios, backyard swimming pools, open floor plans, and outdoor kitchens. Many of the homes also have separate barns or stables, chicken coops, and vegetable gardens, and citrus trees. Originally built in the late 1970s, several of the homes have been remodeled or renovated to reflect current design trends. Currently, home prices range from $300,000 for a 1,300 square foot cottage upward to $3 million for a custom, expansive estate. Newer construction homes are available as well as a few land lots for those who wish to build their dream home. Lot prices range from $110,000 to $220,000.
