Mazyck-Wraggborough

Also known as Mazcyk-Wraggborough, the community of Wraggborough is bordered by the Gaillard Auditorium, the Charleston Visitors Bureau, the Charleston Maritime Center, and the Charleston Music Hall. Wraggborough is a neighborhood saturated with culture and history, as many of the streets of Wraggborough are named after the members of the Wragg family, who helped found the area in the 18th century. The neighborhood features splendid original and renovated homes with classic architectural style, and the area is populated with students, young professionals, families, and retirees. Wraggborough is located along the “museum mile” of Charleston and sits close to the famed Charleston Museum, founded in 1773, and the Aiken-Rhett house, a museum house that is well known for its size and elegant interior furnishings.
